John Cratty, FMDC


John is a director at Svea Mutual Insurance Company in Orion, IL. a position he has held since 2001.  John served 31 years with the Galesburg Fire Department, 15 years as the Fire Chief.  He served in local government public safety and administration for a total of 35 years ending his local government career as a City Administrator in Monmouth, IL.  John served on the Illinois Fire Chief’s Board and Legislative Committee and was a Branch Chief for the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System focusing on interstate mutual aid. 

John has served on IAMIC’s Board, Education Committee and Government Relations Committee and has actively participated in the Congressional Contacts Program in Washington DC for over a decade.   

John earned his Farm Mutual Director Certification (FMDC) in 2012 and earned the Merit Society award in 2014. 

John is a native of Galesburg, IL and lives there with his wife Darla.  They have two sons, John Perry (JP) and Kyle married to Kelly.

Dan Young, PFMM


Dan is the Manager/Secretary/Treasurer of Central Illinois Mutual Insurance Company in Villa Grove, IL where he has served customers for more than five years. He has been in the insurance industry since 1978, working in technical and management positions, including claims, education, underwriting, and marketing. Dan has worked in both personal and commercial lines. He served on our Education Committee for several years and joined our Board of Directors in 2014.  Dan chairs our Mutual Assistance Manual Committee.  Dan received the LAUTUM Award in 2019.

A native of Akron, OH, Dan has lived in Illinois since 1966 and has a B.A. in Psychology from Millikin University. He and his wife, Barbara, have three married children and four grandchildren.



Tony Koehler, PFMM


Growing up in the family farm equipment business, Tony gained intimate knowledge of being a small business owner. His grandfather started as a JI Case dealer and also sold Willies Jeeps and Cushman scooters in 1940 in “downtown” Sutter, IL. He went to work full-time right out of college for his father and grandfather, and then moved to a just-purchased location nearby when he married.

Tony expanded his self-employed status by opening an insurance business in 1994, and in September 2011 he began as a manager at Camp Point Mutual Insurance, where he enjoys using his knowledge of farm equipment to help his customers and colleagues.

In 2019 Camp Point Mutual merged with Carthage Mutual and became Western IL Mutual and Tony is the Manager. He earned his PFMM in 2013 and is working toward an FMDC. He has served IAMIC as PR committee chair and on the convention committee.

 He and his wife, Beth, live in Camp Point and have two grown daughters, Kerbee and Kyra. He is a graduate of Warsaw High School, Warsaw, IL and Truman State University, with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in data processing.

Kathleen Bray. CPA, PFMM


Kathy is a CPA and worked for seven years at the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. achieving the role of manager.  She joined Wilberton Mutual in 1994 as Asst. Secretary/Treasurer and assumed the Secretary/Treasurer position in 1996.

She has served on the IAMIC Public Relations Committee, Convention Committee and was an IAMIC director from  2012 thru 2014.   Kathy is a member of the Illinois Merit Society and received the NAMIC Merit Award in 2015. 

She is a native of St. Peter, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois. She and her husband, Dennis, have two children – Kyle, 22 and Rachel 19


Ben Leezer


Ben is the Assistant Secretary-Treasurer of Elmira Mutual in Toulon Il. He grew up in a Farm Mutual family and still farms with his brother, raising cattle, hogs, and chickens. Ben joined the family insurance agency in 2011 after graduating from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a degree in Finance and Business Economics. In 2013 he became a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. In his spare time, Ben enjoys fishing, boating, hunting, and BBQing.





Andy Gerlach,  PFMM


Andy attended Southern Illinois University and studied Core Concepts of Engineering. He has worked at Randolph Mutual for eight years and is presently the Manager of the Mutual.  He received the NAMIC Merit Award in 2014, the 2015 IAMIC Company Achievement Award and serves on the Convention, PR and Government Relations Committees.  

Andy is extremely active in his community and has served as an on-call fireman since 1999 and has served on the Steeleville town board since 2001.  He has also been a softball and basketball coach at the local grade school and high school as well as being a football referee

Andy and his wife, Ali are natives of Steelevillie which is where they are raising their two children, Chloe and Drew.


Kathy Rice, PFMM


Kathy has worked in the insurance industry for more than 30 years. She began her career with a multi-line insurance agency where she received her P&C license.  Serving on the IAMIC Convention and Education Committees has been one of her many focuses. 

She has been with Kane County Mutual for 10 years and presently serves as their Secretary-Treasurer/Manager.

Kathy and her husband, Mike, make their home in Sycamore and have raised two great children, Trevor and Marissa. 




Diane Molter


Diane has worked in the insurance and farm industries for many years.  Her experience is an asset to the Watseka Mutual where she has been the Manager for 2 years.   

She is presently working towards her PFMM and has served on the convention committee in 2018.  Diane is also very active in her community where she serves as the treasurer for the Sheldon Fire Protection District.  Diane serves on the PR Committee for our Association as well as her role on the Board.

Diane and her husband, Stan, are natives of Sheldon and have raised their 2 children there.  They are grandparents to two grandsons, Colton & Jack.  



Greg Keller


Greg started his career in 1993 in Agriculture Sales and owned an ag retail business.  He came into the insurance business at the age of 45 and presently serves as Assistant Manager of Marshall Mutual Insurance Company.  

Greg is a native of Dongola, IL and attended Southeast Missouri State University. 

Greg and his wife, Jennifer, have 2 children Wyatt, who is attending Indiana State and  Avery, who is in the 8th Grade in Marshall.





Clint Huffstutler


Clint worked in the banking industry for 15 years as a commercial lender at banks in Davenport, IA and St.Louis, MO and then becoming bank president in Aledo, IL.  Clint has been very civically active serving as Aledo Chamber of Commerce President '06. earning the Illinois YMCA Key Leader Award, Mercer Co. YMCA Chief Volunteer Officer, President of Aledo Exchange Club, Deacon Chair and Finance Chair of First Baptist Church in Aledo.

Clint has come to recognize the benefits of becoming involved with IAMIC as well as NAMIC by attending seminars and conventions which allows him an opportunity of learning through classes and by networking with his peers.

Clint was raised in Aledo and attended Bradley University and Graduate School of Banking University of Madison Wisconsin.  He and his wife, Robin have 2 sons Brandon (wife-Teryn) and Adam.
