IMPACT Society Qualifications


Applicants must be affiliated with members of IAMIC. Any company staff person, director or agent in good standing may qualify. A required accumulation of sixty points by each individual is required. Point accumulation is limited to activities occurring during a five-year period. Each category is counted only one time and a minimum of twenty points per category is required. Emphasis is placed on the applicant’s dedication to ongoing education, legislative activity and industry image.

Qualification Requirements

Education(During the last five years)

Points

  • Attended at least three IAMIC seminars per year (Director’s Round Table, Claims Seminar, Regionals, Convention, etc.)

  • Successful completion of any CPCU/CIC/ IIA exam part or Farm Mutual Manager Certification

  • Hold educational seminars for staff, agents, mutuals

5

  • Completion of any job-related college or university course (includes non-insurance courses)

5

  • Illinois insurance license

5

  • Attended IAMIC or NAMIC Convention

  • Attended educational meeting on local, state or national level for your profession or community

Legislative Activity(During the past five years, or as otherwise noted)

  • Wrote to US Congressperson or member of Illinois General Assembly on behalf of IAMIC, NAMIC or farm mutual company

  • Made an individual donation to the Farm Mutual Political Action Committee (FMPAC)

  • Participated in the IAMIC Legislative Day - Springfield

  • Hosted or attended a town meeting for an elected official

  • Participated in the IAMIC Congressional Contacts Visits – Washington, D.C.

  • Held an elected or an official position on the local, state or national level (township, village, city or county board, etc.) in the last 10 years.
