2015 Volunteer of the Year Award Winner

Chris Feldt, Heartland Mutual Insurance Company, was recognized on August 24 as this year's recipient of the Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies' (IAMIC) Volunteer of the Year Award. The award presentation took place during the 134th annual IAMIC convention at the Embassy Suites Hotel, East Peoria, IL.

The Volunteer of the Year Award originated in 2005 as a means to recognize those individuals who generously donate their time to the success of the association. The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to a person who serves as an example of volunteer commitment and leadership.

Chris was recognized for his willingness to share knowledge and talent along with great ideas and shortcuts.  He has stepped up to the plate to volunteer on our Mutual Assistance Manual - where he has shared his success to help make it easier for his fellow managers.   Going above and beyond his expected role, Chris helps  make great things happen.

Chris Feldt has been employed with Heartland Mutual for since 2007 and serves as a Director at Large on the IAMIC board.

The Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is a trade association comprised of farm mutual insurance companies. Mutual insurance, like the farming industry, has been a part of the Illinois landscape for well over a century. IAMIC provides member companies with the educational opportunities, professional development, legislative support, and industry recognition.
