2025 LAUTUM Award Winner Chris Feldt

East Peoria, IL — August 19, 2025 — The Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (IAMIC) is proud to announce Chris Feldt of Heartland Mutual Insurance Company in Belleville as the recipient of the 2025 LAUTUM Award, the association’s highest honor recognizing leadership, service, and dedication to the mutual insurance industry.

Feldt has been a dependable leader and mentor throughout his career, sharing knowledge with colleagues, guiding managers, and speaking at both state and national events, including IAMIC and NAMIC. As longtime Chair of IAMIC’s Education Committee, he has shaped professional development opportunities and consistently raised the bar for industry training.

“Chris embodies everything the LAUTUM Award stands for — service, mentorship, and a willingness to step up wherever he’s needed,” said Jackie Rakers, Executive Director. “His leadership and generosity have made a lasting impact on our industry and our people.”

The LAUTUM Award is presented annually to an individual whose contributions reflect outstanding service, integrity, and commitment to the mutual insurance community.

The Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is a trade association comprised of farm mutual insurance companies. Like the farming industry, mutual insurance has been a part of the Illinois landscape for well over a century.  IAMIC provides member companies with educational opportunities, professional development, legislative support, and industry recognition.
